NEW LinkAhead Docs Release 1.0 – Now Structured with Diátaxis
We are excited to introduce the new LinkAhead documentation.
We have completely overhauled the LinkAhead documentation site. As part of this effort, our entire team collaborated in a dedicated hackathon to review, revise, and in many cases completely rewrite the documentation. We not only migrated the content, but also fundamentally restructured and refined it, the documentation is now organized according to the Diátaxis framework.
For you, this means:
- clearer structure
- improved navigation
- significantly more user-friendly access to LinkAhead.
You can now find information more quickly and work more efficiently with our software.
The new structure follows the Diátaxis approach, which divides documentation into clearly defined sections such as tutorials, how-to guides, reference, and explanation. This ensures that you can always access the type of information you need — whether you are just getting started, solving a specific problem, or looking for a deeper understanding.
We also migrated the documentation to a modernized theme and all content is now at a single location. Previously, the different sections were distributed across individual software repositories, which made intuitive navigation increasingly difficult over time.
The documentation overhaul was carried out as part of the BatCat project, which is funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme.
